The Central Information Service, and in particular the Campus Information & Business Intelligence Services (CIBIS) department, is responsible for all applications in the areas of campus administration and personnel administration.
In the past, Adobe LiveCycle Server has already been successfully used to generate documents such as study certificates and transcripts. Due to the continuous expansion of the digital service offering and the desire for a lean architecture, the decision was made to take the next step.
Implementation
The main purpose of the platform is currently the generation of documents (activity reports, certificates, notifications, form letters, etc.) via the output service.
The University of Vienna currently manages around 42 different document templates via the platform and generates around 1.3 million documents per year - and the trend is rising.

- Support with the digitalization of university processes
- Creation of documents such as study certificates or transcripts (campus management)
- Preparation of documents in PDF and PostScript for central printing
